GORONTALO, October 22, 2026. The Department of Educational Management, Faculty of Education (FIP), Universitas Negeri Gorontalo (UNG), held a workshop on Thursday, October 22, 2026, under the theme “Curriculum Alignment to Strengthen the Academic Vision of the Department of Educational Management.” The workshop took place at Zarona Coffee & Eatery and was scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA).

The workshop formed part of the department’s efforts to make its academic vision a guiding reference for curriculum development. Alignment is essential to ensure that educational priorities, course content, and expected graduate competencies consistently support one another.

Several participants also used laptops to examine working materials during the workshop. The activities illustrate the direct involvement of participants in the review process.

In academic program management, curriculum alignment plays an important role. The academic vision needs to be reflected in graduate profiles, learning outcomes, course structures, learning experiences, and assessment practices. Linking these components helps the department maintain its academic focus while assessing the curriculum’s relevance to developments in educational management.

The workshop was organized for lecturers of the Department of Educational Management. The official invitation, dated October 19, 2026, was signed by the Head of the Department, Dr. Arifin, S.Pd., M.Pd. The forum provided an opportunity for lecturers to contribute academic perspectives to the curriculum alignment process.
